The Work Horse

An interdepartmental collaboration between our Wood and Broom studios. This horsehair bench brush combines sculpture and utility.  Designed as a collaboration between acclaimed chairmaker Brian Boggs, broom student Alex ’26 & Director of Broomcraft Amanda Lee Lazorchack, this brush supports our commitment to mindfulness and sustainability through its construction method and the use of a variety of sustainably harvested hardwoods from within the Berea College Forest.
