An interdepartmental collaboration between students of the Broom Studio and Woodcraft. This dustpan and hand broom set exemplify the beauty of clean and purposeful design. A sleek feeling creation, designed by student Destiny ’26 who drew inspiration from Japanese brush making. The rooster-tail style whisk broom is one of the most complicated hand brooms that the program has ever produced, requiring precise sizing and shaping to properly hold the dustpan in place. Field-to-fiber design: using regional plants to naturally dye fiber in-house.
