Designed by Zoe Cowley ’20, Rachel Bates ’20, Elsa ’23. Building on student design work and concepts initially explored in 2020, these new additions to the People Collection are inspired by lessons in intersectional communication theories Elsa has been exploring in her academic work here at Berea. As intended by Bates and Cowley when initially designed, these brightly colored ceramics highlight the beauty and strength that diversity makes possible.
